Diary - July 20th 2024 : memory of foreworks in summer
Today is the Fireworks Festival of Abe River in Shizuoka-city.
Originally, this event is dedicated to spirits of peoplw who lost their lives in the Pacific War.
When my father was alive, I used to watch fireworks in the night sky in summer with my father from upstairs of my house. Thus, the Abe River Fireworks Festival reminds me of the good old memory.
I hope my father and mother are enjoying tonight's fireworks from the heaven.
