CNNより ２０％以上のアメリカ人が将来、美容整形手術を受けてみたいと思っている、という調査結果が出たとのこと。（現在、美容整形の経験者は１０％以下だそうです） 具体的に、有名人のどのパーツに憧れるか？ という質問では、男性の５１％はアイドル歌手Nick Lacheyのような腹筋になりたい、 女性では４６％が、女優のJennifer Anistonのような目になりたい、らしいです。
